Auckland Airport

A garden of cigarette butts. There were three female smokers about to indulge when I took this snap. They were amazed that anyone would want to photograph their used butts. They remind me of a wild, beach style garden.

End of an era

This is the last photo I took at CPIT, after 27 years I was made surplus to requirements.

This is an electron microscope that was donated to a Gisborne transport type museum.
Besides this there are many other buildings crammed full of amazing bits of machinery. The sort of place that men who wear overalls could spend a great deal of time avoiding the Mrs.

These were taken with an old Box Brownie.
It makes a refreshing change from the super precision and predicable digital.

This beautiful and bountiful arrangement of cup cakes was offered to party goers at my dear friend, John's birthday bash.

This image is kind of symbolic of the photographs I'll be adding. Sometimes there may be a theme, other images may be random or part of an ongoing theme. This one, Kitchen Sink was taken in a motel in Wairoa a couple of years back. I'm intriqued by the space age look of the taps and the angular water drainage grooves.
